The project “Bosaso Spring Water Sources Development Phase II if funded separately by EU (T05.EUTF-HoA-SO-23.04) and AICS (01/AICSNAIROBI/2023).
The EU project aims to increase the size of the gravity adduction main to Bosaso from 5,000 cum/day to 7,500 cum/day and to build an irrigation system for 25 farms in Duud Shabeel, while the AICS project aims to further expand the trunk line up to 14,500 cum/day and additional activities for the farmers.
The increase of the capacity of adduction main is necessary to exploit the abundant fresh water sources found in Dhuud Shabeel and surrounding springs.

The technical studies and the works execution are carried out directly by Terre Solidali. Terre Solidali contributes to the project with the free use of several machineries and equipment
